Another victim, known as Jane Doe No. 102 in a federal lawsuit, alleges she was 15 when Epstein made her quit her $9 an hour job at The Mar-a-Lago Club to become what amounted to his sex slave. The lawsuit says Epstein traveled with her to many locations, requiring her to have sex with him and others.
Epstein is serving his one-year probation in his Palm Beach mansion on El Brillo Way and is registered as a lifelong sex offender. He does not wear a monitoring device.
He served 13 months of his 18-month sentence at the Palm Beach County Stockade for procuring a minor for prostitution and soliciting prostitution. Instead of walking out through the main door where prisoners are routinely released, Epstein was allowed to leave the jail through a sally port, thereby avoiding awaiting media cameras.

Crist Cracks Down On Dirty Politics
Governor Orders Investigation Into South Fla. Corruption
POSTED: 6:36 pm EDT October 14, 2009UPDATED: 9:46 am EDT October 15, 2009
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Gov. Charlie Crist is cracking down on dirty politics.
Crist asked Florida’s Supreme Court on Wednesday to empanel a grand jury to investigate corruption in South Florida.
The governor said the statewide investigation will look into everything from bribery and prostitution to dirty deals and drugs.
In recent years, three Palm Beach County and two West Palm Beach city commissioners have been accused of political corruption.
Crist said he has had to remove more than 30 public officials from their jobs since he became governor.
“That’s almost one a month, and it’s obvious to me that something’s wrong with the system,” Crist said at a news conference in Tallahassee.

Citing a recent rash of crime involving public officials, Gov. Charlie Crist on Wednesday petitioned the Florida Supreme Court to empanel a statewide grand jury to investigate the matter.
In his petition, Crist said that after consulting with local law enforcement agencies as well as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, there is “good and sufficient reason” to investigate criminal activity “among local and state officials acting in their official capacity.”
Such an investigation would run the gamut from bribery and prostitution to crimes involving drugs.
And while the investigation would not be limited to any particular part of the state, Crist requested in his petition that a judge from one of several circuits, including Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach County, be appointed to oversee the grand jury.
Crist’s announcement follows recent indictments of Broward County Commissioner Josephus Eggelletion, Broward School Board member Beverly Gallagher, and Alan Mendelsohn, a prominent Hollywood eye surgeon on public corruption charges.

The seven-term Florida congressman from Boca Raton told party leaders in a conference call Tuesday night that he plans to lead the Washington-based Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation, the Miami Herald reported.
Democratic leaders did not say whether the 48-year-old, self-proclaimed “fire-breathing” liberal offered another reason for the decision.
Under Florida law, Gov. Charlie Crist must call a special election to fill the seat and Wexler’s unexpected move has reportedly already set off a succession battle.
As an early Barack Obama supporter, Wexler campaigned nationwide to build support for his presidency in the Jewish community.
He also gained national exposure for an appearance on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report.”
In Colbert’s “better know a district” segment, the comic tricked Wexler into saying that he “enjoyed cocaine and the company of prostitutes because they are fun things to do.”

Wexler gained national fame in 1998 as a vocal defender of former President Clinton during Clinton’s impeachment. He continued to be a presence on national TV after the 2000 presidential election, when many of Wexler’s constituents complained they were confused by Palm Beach County’s “butterfly ballot” and Wexler became a leading critic the presidential recount.
Wexler then became a prominent foe of the paperless electronic voting systems that Florida and many other states adopted in the aftermath of the 2000 election.
Wexler was unsuccessful with lawsuits claiming paperless voting was unconstitutional. But after his friend Charlie Crist was elected governor in 2002, Wexler persuaded Crist to support a law requiring paper ballots in Florida.
Since his initial victory in 1996, Wexler has not faced a serious reelection challenge in his liberal district.
In 2006, Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert highlighted Wexler’s seeming political invincibility by getting Wexler to joke on camera about enjoying cocaine and prostitutes.

Maxwell — whose press-lord father, Robert Maxwell, died in 1991 after falling into the Atlantic off his yacht, the Lady Ghislaine — was served with a subpoena on Sept. 22 at 6:45 p.m. as she was leaving the Clinton Global Initiatives Conference at the Sheraton Hotel.
Florida lawyer Brad Edwards, who represents three of the “Jane Does” who are suing Epstein, told Page Six that Maxwell would be questioned over her knowledge of how Epstein procured many of the girls.
Epstein is accused in the civil complaints of luring underage girls to his mansion in Palm Beach to give him massages, during which he allegedly engaged them in sexual activity and paid them hundreds of dollars each. A grand jury indicted Epstein on a charge of felony solicitation of prostitution. Epstein, who pleaded guilty and did 12 months in prison, was deposed last week in the offices of his lawyer, Jack Goldberger.

Ex-stripper, Priest Engaged in Child Custody Fight
Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 03:09 PM
In South Florida, a Catholic priest and ex-stripper are engaged in a legal battle over child custody of the daughter the priest admits he fathered.
The priest, David Dueppen claimed in Miami-Dade family court that he deserves to have custody of his baby Marilyn at least 70 percent of the time, the Miami Herald reports. The 10-month-old child’s mother, a former stripper named Beatrice Hernandez, told the Miami archdiocese last month that she and Dueppen had rekindled a seven-year romantic affair after they met at Porky’s strip club.
Since the child’s birth, a judge issued a temporary restraining order against the priest, after the ex-stripper claimed he choked her during an argument over paternity and child support.
