Palm Beach Strip Clubs: Four Reasons To Watch the Pro Bowl

January 31st, 2010 by palmbeach-stripper

But does that mean should you care? Attend? Tune in tonight at 7?
* This one matters to people. The Miami game is set to be the highest-attended Pro Bowl in 51 years. And as David Hyde wrote, you only have to look as far as dismissed former UM and current Vikings tackle Bryant McKinnie’s case — in which observers actually noticed and cared that a player had got lost in the nightlife — to confirm that this one matters.
McKinnie missed four of the five practices, a team meeting, and team photo; best of all, he left a trail of tweets that led from club Mansion to the North Miami strip club King of Diamonds. ”We don’t know where he is,” an NFL spokesman said Saturday. “All we know is he’s not playing the game. He’s dismissed from the team.”

Palm Beach Strip Clubs: Bryant McKinnie kicked off NFC Pro Bowl team

January 30th, 2010 by palmbeach-stripper

FORT LAUDERDALE – Vikings offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie, no stranger to off-field problems, was kicked off the NFC Pro Bowl squad Saturday for missing his second consecutive practice without an excuse.
McKinnie, who made the first Pro Bowl of his eight-year career since the Vikings drafted him out of Miami in the first round as a backup, and Panthers Pro Bowl defensive end Julius Peppers both missed Friday’s practice. However, Peppers showed up at Lockhart Stadium Saturday and is expected to start Sunday.
McKinnie forfeits his share for appearing in the Pro Bowl, which will be either $22,500 or $45,000, depending on which team wins.
McKinnie actually detailed his South Beach partying route on his Twitter account Bigmacvikings with his last entry saying he was “leaving the beach headed to 2 KOD’s,” which apparently is a Miami strip club known as King of Diamonds.

Florida Prostitute Leaves Baby in SUV While Working
By: Gannett News Service – Jan 16th, 2010
BRANDON, Fla. – Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies say they have arrested a woman who left her 3-month-old baby in a vehicle while she worked as a prostitute.
Investigators say 30-year-old Latosha Yeadon is charged with Aggravated Child Abuse, Aggravated Child Neglect, Prostitution and Contributing to the Dependency of a Child.
Deputies say Thursday afternoon a maintenance worker at The Plantation Palms Apartments in Brandon spotted a child concealed with blankets inside an SUV.
Investigators say the Jeep’s window was only rolled down about an inch and the worker was able to force it open and rescue the baby.
Detectives say Yeadon went to the apartment to have sex with a man who contacted her on the internet for prostitution. The baby was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.

Palm Beach Escorts: West Palm Beach vigil brings attention to stash houses for sex slaves

January 29th, 2010 by palmbeachhobbyist

So, the president of the Grandview Heights Neighborhood Association was understandably stunned when federal agents raided the house, saying it was used as a brothel by a sophisticated ring that brought young Mexican women into the United States and forced them to work as sex slaves.
“It sounds weird to say, but in general they were very nice people,” he said of his former neighbors. “I guess we’re all a little bit naive about what’s going on around us.”

The U.S. State Department estimates that as many as 17,500 people are brought into the country annually to serve as slaves. Most are women and girls who are forced to work as prostitutes. Florida, particularly South Florida, is considered a national hot spot for human trafficking, along with California, New York and Texas.

Palm Beach Escorts: Hallandale puts cap on pain clinics, massage services

January 28th, 2010 by palmbeachhobbyist

Magill said Florida is high on the list of states in which people get quick, easy access to prescription drugs issued by irresponsible physicians working at “pain management centers” and “pain clinics.”
“New state laws are coming into effect and [this measure] helps bridge the gap” until they do, Magill said. “These businesses have been popping up now before the regulations set in, and we’re trying to prevent that.”
The six-month moratorium “gives code enforcement more time to look at applications” to ensure that new businesses are legitimate, Magill said.
A similar moratorium was established by the Hallandale City Commission on massage establishments — with a caveat for existing, legitimate businesses.
“We haven’t had any problems with legitimate businesses. It’s the ones that [use massage services] as a front for things like prostitution that have been a problem,” Magill said.

Palm Beach Adult Entertainment: Fla. judge says abortion records can be subpoenaed

January 26th, 2010 by adultpalmbeach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. –
A Palm Beach judge has ruled lawyers for a billionaire jailed for soliciting underage prostitutes can subpoena abortion records from women seeking millions in damages.
Circuit Judge Donald Hafele said Tuesday the records could help Jeffrey Epstein refute claims the women suffered a host of problems after being paid to give sexually charged massages when they were as young as 14.
Hafele says the records can’t be sought until the women are asked whether they’ve had an abortion, how many and where. He said the records wouldn’t be made public and ultimately may not be admissible during trial.
A lawyer for a West Palm Beach abortion clinic objected, saying the records are protected by the constitutional right to privacy.

Palm Beach Strip Clubs: Do you trust cops to police themselves?

January 26th, 2010 by palmbeach-stripper

I suppose the question also goes for every police-involved shooting or questionable incident that goes to Internal Affairs. And I suppose the question would still hold true even if BSO handed off this investigation to an outside agency like the Florida Highway Patrol or Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
The bottom line is that cops are left to investigate other cops, and the general public wonders if the full truth ever comes out or if they protect each other.
Skepticism has only been heightened recently by incidents like the one in Hollywood, where officers and civilian personnel were captured on tape seemingly fixing to pin crash blame on a woman hit by a police cruiser.
Then there was the case of a Broward Sheriff’s deputy allowed to resign and plead guilty to a misdemeanor after a long-developing pattern of pulling over strippers and women on traffic stops, one of whom claims she was sexually assaulted.

Palm Beach Adult Entertainment: Ex-Epstein employee nabbed for trying to sell info to FBI

January 26th, 2010 by adultpalmbeach

Rodriguez told agents of witnessing nude girls whom he believed to be underage at Epstein’s pool area, of knowing that his former employer was having sex with underage girls, and of viewing underage pornography on computers in Epstein’s home.
Special Agent Christina Pryor wrote that later review of the papers and book Rodriguez handed over revealed information “that would have been extremely useful in investigating and prosecuting the case, including names and contact information of material witnesses and additional victims.”
“Had those items been produced in response to inquiries of state law enforcement officers or the Special Agents, their contents would have been presented to the federal grand jury,” Pryor wrote.
The information allegedly withheld by Rodriguez may have been a tipping point in the controversial probe of Epstein. Federal prosecutors ended up striking an extraordinary deal with Epstein and his top-flight lawyers: agreeing to recall grand jury subpoenas if Epstein pleaded guilty to prostitution-related felonies in state court, which he ultimately did.

Palm Beach Strip Clubs: Victims seeking sex offender’s millions see painful pasts used against them

January 24th, 2010 by palmbeach-stripper

… Because Epstein purportedly has ‘lots of money,’ they claim his actions caused their horrific damages,” Critton wrote, asking a judge to force the women to answer his questions. “Yet performing in the ‘Champagne Room,’ dancing at strip clubs and prostituting themselves … has no relevance to their claimed damages in this case? Are (they) and their attorneys seriously making this argument?”

Adam Horowitz, who represents six of the women, said it’s not surprising that some would become strippers or prostitutes after their experiences with Epstein. “These women were hyper-sexualized at very young ages,” he said. That they came from troubled, or even violent, homes only made them more vulnerable, he said.
In a deposition, a woman identified as L.M. said she began working as a call girl and stripper after her experience with Epstein, whom she met at age 15. She said she left the “bunny ranch” business in June when she was 21.
