Palm Beach Strip Clubs: Trial in dispute between former medical partners, friends begins Monday in Stuart

January 22nd, 2010 by palmbeach-stripper

Romagosa in July 2005 had one year left on a three-year contract when he departed TCD. Soon after, he filed a breach of contract lawsuit and set up a rival dermatology practice across the street from Ioannides in Stuart.
While both sides differ on who caused the professional split, court papers show it didn’t take long before the former best friends were accusing each other of inappropriate office affairs, sexual trysts with female staffers and claims by Romagosa of being pressured to perform unnecessary medical procedures to boost revenues.
In court Thursday, attorneys for both sides argued before Circuit Judge Elizabeth Metzger on whether jurors should hear some of the more sordid claims the doctors have levied against each other, including whether one used “cheat sheets” while taking medical board exams, which doctor visited strip clubs and which of the now-married men cheated on their fiancees.

Palm Beach Strip Clubs: South Beach Getting the Super Bowl Shaft

January 21st, 2010 by palmbeach-stripper

South Beach is usually party central for many Super Bowl revelers. Hugh Hefner hasn’t abandoned us yet.
For a lot of people this year, the party is shifting to Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Sidewalk cafes will move out into the street. And the beach will host a free concert on the Saturday before the big game.
The Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood will also host a series of events Super Bowl Week, many of which are sponsored by the NFL and the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee.
Yes, Miami will see plenty of Super Bowl action and things will likely be busy on South Beach. Pro athletes still see Miami as the strip club mecca so Miami-Dade will get its share of the expected rain of cash in the forecast.

Palm Beach Adult Entertainment: Super Bowl Strip Club Debauchery: Disco Rick Teaches You How to Politely Make …

January 21st, 2010 by adultpalmbeach

The top performers make $400,000 to $800,000 a year. I’ve seen one girl make $28,000 in a night. Her name is Tip Drill. She’s more like a Cirque du Soleil performer than a stripper. She climbs up on that tall-ass pole using her thighs. Then she slides upside down headfirst lightning fast and puts on the brakes when her head is two inches from the ground. I look away. It’s just: ‘Oh, fuck, I hope that drink don’t kick in.’
It all started with drunk cowboys in the Western days. They would go to the saloons and have sex upstairs with the prostitutes in the hotel rooms. What happened is the girls became the big shit–the saloon would lose money because the cowboys were too busy with the girls to drink at the bar. So somebody said, ‘Let’s entertain the guys without having them leave the bar.”

Palm Beach Strip Clubs: Duo attack man outside Pompano strip club

January 15th, 2010 by palmbeach-stripper

A pair of robbers who pointed a handgun and shotgun at a strip club client’s face as they took his cash last month didn’t know the club’s surveillance camera was pointed right at them.
The video, which shows the quick attack outside the Flavors nightclub on Dec. 22, was released Friday by the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, Benjamin Warrick, 53, of Plantation, was not injured during the robbery.
Warrick walked out of the club in the 200 block of South Dixie Highway toward his car at about 10 p.m. when the men pounced on him, shoving him to the ground. They took his money and a set of keys, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The surveillance video shows the men had been waiting in a red Chevrolet Cavalier with tinted windows in the club’s parking lot.

Palm Beach Strip Clubs: A Boynton Beach police officer acquitted in a domestic battery case last year …

January 15th, 2010 by palmbeach-stripper

A Boynton Beach police officer acquitted in a domestic battery case last year was fired from his job on Wednesday.
Officer Thomas W. Jones, 31, was accused of strangling and beating his wife after a night of drinking at a strip club on Jan. 31, 2009, according to the department’s internal investigation report. In April, a judge acquitted Jones of the charges.
“I’m kind of surprised that he got fired,” said Jones’ attorney in the criminal case, Gordon Richstone, in an interview Thursday. “I’m disappointed that he got fired since he was acquitted in the criminal case.”
In Jones’ termination letter, City Manager Kurt Bressner explained that although the officer was acquitted, the police department has a lower standard of proof than a criminal court.
It was the second time Jones had a brush with the law. In 2001, he was involved in a car crash with a fellow officer in Boynton Beach. Both were off-duty.
