Then there were the bizarre goings-on at Ben Jr.’s house on Delmar Place years before mother and son met their brutal ends. Back in 2002, Ben Jr. claimed his wife, Narcy, a former stripper from Ecuador, bound and gagged him in his house in a murder plot. But there were never any charges and Narcy claimed it was all part of a sex game gone awry. Ben Jr. — whose father was the founder of the Fontainebleau — dropped his divorce filing when the couple reconciled and got back together.

Cemetery sex in West Palm Beach?
by Andrew Abramson
Looking for a good time? According to West Palm Beach Commissioner Ike Robinson, citizens have complained that lots of people are having a good time at the Evergreen Cemetery at Rosemary Avenue and 27th Street.
“The cemetery is not being locked up at night,” said Robinson at this morning’s Mayor-Commission workshop. “It’s a prostitution haven.”
Christine Thrower, director of the Parks and Rec department, said she’s heard of the prostitution claims but that it’s been unverified by the city. Thrower said that the cemetery is locked up at night, but that “there’s very easy cemetery access by climbing the walls.”
Robinson said police chief Delsa Bush assured him that the police are patrolling the area periodically.
“Hopefully some of those issues have been addressed,” Robinson said. “But we’ve been getting calls from people in community who own plots in there. Let us not let these concerns go unheard.”

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

A former suburban West Palm Beach massage parlor owner pled guilty today to charges of harboring illegal aliens and money laundering, the U.S. Justice Department said.
Mal Suk Kim, 60 is scheduled for sentencing on July 20 before U.S. District Court Judge Kenneth L. Ryskamp. She will also forfeit $150,000 involved in the money laundering offense, the justice department said in a news release.
Kim was arrested in 2008 after a lengthy investigation of the Asian massage parlor that included U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the IRS, the FBI and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Another woman, Hannah Eun Sun Chong, 50, of Wellington, pled guilty last year on the same charges and will be sentenced on July 8, the release stated.

… Fifty million is a non-starter,” said attorney Adam Horowitz, who represents seven victims. “It’s not a good faith number.”
Epstein attorney Michael Pike says revealing the tax returns would jeopardize Epstein’s Fifth Amendment right.
U.S. Magistrate Linnea Johnson has ruled the tax returns are fair game as are copies of Epstein’s passport and copies of all documents Epstein exchanged with the FBI in connection with a federal investigation.
Epstein will appeal all three issues, Pike said.
Epstein, 57, is currently under house arrest in his Palm Beach home after serving 13 months of an 18-month state sentence for soliciting a minor for prostitution and soliciting prostitution. Nearly two dozen young women have filed lawsuits against Epstein — some already settled — all alleging he sexually abused them as minors at his El Brillo Way home.

No wild parties or naked women running around. No the old LT.
That’s what makes the Hall of Famer’s arrest Thursday all the more stunning to those who know the kinder, gentler, retired version of the one-man wrecking crew that terrorized quarterbacks on the field and tormented police officers off it during his playing days.
“Very out of character. I’m just in shock right now,” said Bridgette Scott, who lives next door to Taylor. “We just pray for Lawrence and hope everything turns out OK.”
Taylor is currently facing rape charges in New York after police caught him in a hotel room with a 16-year-old prostitute. Authorities claim Taylor paid the girl $300 for sex, but didn’t force himself onto the girl. He was in jail waiting to be released on $75,000 bond.

Rather, he said reading from a motion he filed with the court, releasing the returns “could have the potential to provide a link in a chain of information or lead to other evidence or witnesses that would have a risk of furthering an investigation against Mr. Epstein.” He declined to elaborate.
Epstein is also fighting Johnson’s order to turn over his passport and to let the government release information they gathered against him as part of his criminal prosecution.
As part of a plea deal that was to spare his victims the trauma of both criminal trial and extended civil litigation, he pleaded guilty to procuring a minor for prostitution and soliciting prostitution. He was released from the Palm Beach County jail in July after serving 13 months of an 18-month sentence.

Gouget told the Registe that NOAA officials at the Unified Command Center in Louisiana know how to respond to spills, and know burning should have started as soon as possible after the initial release was detected. He also speculated that they may have been prevented from doing so by higher officials.
“It may have been a political issue. The burn would make a big big plume and lots of soot. Like Valdez, the decisions to get the resources mobilized may not have occurred until it was too late,” Gouget told the Register. “This whole thing has been a daily strip tease. At first they thought it was just the diesel, then they said the well wasn’t leaking. It’s unfortunate they didn’t get the burning going right away. They could have gotten 90 percent of the oil before it spread.”

A 33-year-old man who impersonated a federal agent and robbed a Greenacres man of $5,000 and two diamond rings was convicted Tuesday, according to the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office.
A jury convicted Derrick Lamar Lewis of kidnapping, falsely personating an officer during commission of a felony, threats or extortion, home invasion by false personation and robbery.
In October 2008, Lewis stopped victim John Grillo as he was leaving the Cumberland Farms convenience store in the 4500 block of Cresthaven Boulevard in Lake Worth. Before Grillo got into his car, a woman solicited him for “a date,” but he refused.
Lewis stopped Grillo and said he was a federal agent who would arrest him for soliciting a prostitute, but he would let him go. Grillo left and Lewis then followed the victim to his Greenacres home where Lewis parked inside the victim’s garage.
