Sheen, continuing his traveling “Violent Torpedo of Truth” variety show at the BankAtlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale Saturday, said “goddess” Rachel “Bree” Olson broke up with him via text message.
The fired star of the television comedy “Two and a Half Men” said he would like to hug troubled actress Lindsay Lohan and tell her that everything would be all right, USA Today reported Sunday.
Sheen also said he wants his old job back.
His guests included former NBA player Dennis Rodman and comedian Jeff Ross, who said he is used to roasting “classier people,” and challenged Sheen’s rants of “winning.”
“If you’re winning, there must be something wrong with the scoreboard,” Ross said.
Sheen’s show hasn’t won much praise, but he continues to draw fans.
“I was curious. And like every American male, I fantasize about all of things he’s about, like the sex, the drugs and the prostitution,” said Mike Zyla, 40, of Deerfield Beach.

… So I used the SunPass to get here,” said Dinolfo, 45, outside the BankAtlantic Center on Saturday night before the former Two and a Half Men star’s Violent Torpedo of Truth show.
Sheen’s well-publicized rants against his producer and his network, CBS, got him fired from his hit show, but his rampant media interviews, erratic behavior, tales of his blond “goddess” girlfriends and general wackiness have led to this tour, which began at the beginning of April.
Even though the audience of the tour’s Detroit opener revolted, Sheen had more than his share of South Florida fans completely unfazed by bad reviews.
“I was curious. And like every American male, I fantasize about all of things he’s about, like the sex, the drugs and the prostitution,” explained Mike Zyla, 40, of Deerfield Beach. He added the bad reviews didn’t bother him. “I spent the money. I knew what I was in for.”

Former call girl heads to trial in Boynton murder-for-hire case
By Susan Spencer-Wendel, The Palm Beach Post 6:50 p.m. EDT, April 23, 2011
The days of reckoning are here for Dalia Dippolito.
The former call girl accused of soliciting a hit man to kill her husband of six months will go on trial Monday for solicitation to commit first-degree murder.
Her case made national headlines when Boynton Beach police snared her in a sting in August 2009. The trial is expected to last at least two weeks.
Tipped by Dippolito’s lover, Mohammed Shihadeh, that she intended to have her husband killed, police set up an elaborate ruse that ended with an undercover officer posing as a hit man telling her that Michael Dippolito was dead.
Video recordings of Dalia Dippolito’s wailing upon hearing that news and an earlier profanity-laced transaction with the hit man, in which she told him she was “5,000 percent sure” she wanted her husband dead, were broadcast on TV and the Internet.

Tobin’s longtime colleague and friend for three decades, former House veteran Fred Lippman, described him as: “Loyal, trustworthy and full of humanity.’’
Lippman said Tobin learned he had cancer in January. The two men spoke almost on a daily basis. Lippman was a mentor to Tobin, who used his bipartisan charm to gain the respect of Republicans.
“When Jack came into the Legislature, I told him to be mindful of the fact that we all get here the same way; we need to look at all people as neighbors regardless of their party. He adhered to it, and it did him very, very well over the years,’’ Lippman said.
His wise-cracking style sometimes raised eyebrows. He once hired a male stripper dressed as a policeman for a bachelor auction. Though no clothes came off, lust was part of his shtick as master of ceremonies. “C’mon, everything works!’’ he said.

The mother of a 31-year-old man who was left brain-damaged after he was attacked while leaving the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club off Okeechobee Boulevard in May 2008 has sued the club and others.
In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Palm Beach County Circuit Court, Teresa Harvey says the club had an obligation to protect her son.
Brad Anderson, who is now mentally incompetent, was a businessman visiting the area from North Carolina when he was attacked. Anderson left the club with another patron.
He was found lying on Sanctuary Way West, about five miles from the club.
Attorney Wally McCall, who is representing Harvey, said the attack occurred at a nearby condominium complex. He also is suing the owner of a unit in the complex, the Bella Lago Homeowners Association and the company that managed the complex.

Strapped South Florida cities spend big bucks to lure business
Although struggling to pay for such basics as police and fire services, Lauderdale Lakes used $700,000 in incentives to help lure three anchor tenants to the once half-vacant Lakes Mall.
In a rundown area of Boynton Beach, a new Wal-Mart is being built where a strip club used to be, before the city bought it out for $1.2 million. At the same time, the city, which has a $9 million budget deficit, is redeveloping its marina with a new lighthouse and two new restaurants a few miles away.
Across South Florida, financially-strapped cities have earmarked hundreds of thousands of dollars to woo businesses and the jobs they bring. Too many empty centers can create a perception of blight that might scare away new tenants and residents, they say.
