Throughout the entire Rush Limbaugh vs. Sandra Fluke incident, there seemed to be one element of the story missing, and many people couldn’t put their finger on just what that element was – until Gloria Allred raised her voice by week’s end. 
Celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred has stepped forward and asked Florida’s Palm Beach County State Attorney to look into whether Rush Limbaugh should be prosecuted for his derogatory comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke.  Since Limbaugh called Fluke a slut and a prostitute in Palm Beach, Florida and there is something still on the books about such cases in the state, the high-profile lawyer believes Limbaugh could be charged. 
Allred sent a letter to Michael McAuliffe, the Palm Beach County State Attorney, suggesting that the sometimes-shocking conservative talk show host be prosecuted.  She suggests – and let the media know – that Limbaugh violated Section 836.04 of the Florida Statutes by referring to Ms. Fluke by the two derogatory terms.

Limbaugh might have spoken falsely — in case the question lingers, Sandra Fluke is not actually a prostitute — but whether he spoke maliciously is another matter. His apology could be construed to bolster the case either for or against him. For him, in that his apology states clearly that he had no intention to cause harm to Ms. Fluke. Against him, in that his apology might be taken as evidence that he thinks he did cause harm to her — and that might be used to suggest he originally spoke with the intention to harm her.

The self-proclaimed feminist is asking that defamation charges be brought against verbal pugilist Rush Limbaugh, for his recent attack on a college student. The portly pundit reportedly called the student a “slut” and a  “prostitute” during one of his broadcasts. Ms. Allred is banking on an obscure Florida law to bring her case home. Limbaugh resides in Palm Beach County and his show broadcasts there as well. Allred contacted the Palm Beach County Attorney’s office today asking prosecutors to invoke a 1883 law making it a misdemeanor to call a woman’s chastity into question.
 Allred stated ”He has personally targeted her and vilified her, and he should have to bear the consequences of his extremely outrageous, tasteless and damaging conduct,” Allred said in a phone interview Friday. Allred added ”I’m sure he has an army of highly paid attorneys in his entourage to advise him about how he should defend himself,”  ”I’m concerned about the impact that he has had and that he wished to have had on women who choose to speak out and exercise their free speech.”

Gloria Allred, the famed celebrity lawyer, sent a letter to the Palm Beach County Attorney’s Office on Thursday saying prosecutors should consider a charge under an 1883 law making it a misdemeanor to question a woman’s chastity.

PBSO Conducts West Palm Trailer Park Prostitution Sting, Releases Price List
​The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office arrested 17 people Thursday in “an enforcement operation targeting street level prostitution” in the Plantation Mobile Home Park in West Palm Beach, according to a press release.
The release also included a dissemination log of the arrests, but the spreadsheet was spelled “dissemenation log,” which, believe it or not, is only the second-most amusing part of the documentation: Police also included what appears to be documentation of what each suspect allegedly wanted and how much they were going to pay.
The entry for 23-year-old Divendre Hernandez, for example, says “5.00 B.J.,” which seems like (sorry) a low-ball offer. Ditto Seneus Mackenson’s “20.00 Sex X 2.” Twice? How long was he planning on being there?

Palm Beach police spokesman Fred Hess said it appeared the package was not dangerous or hazardous, the Palm Beach Daily News reported.
The package had been sent to the radio host by a man in Pennsylvania as a “business opportunity” and contained an electronic plaque commemorating the assassinations of Abraham Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth, police said.
After being delivered Thursday afternoon it was X-rayed by staff at Limbaugh’s home — as is procedure for all mail delivered to the residence — and the alarm was raised because it appeared to contain wires.
The man who sent the package was contacted by authorities and has since apologized.
“Everybody here is safe,” Limbaugh told FOX following the incident.
Limbaugh made headlines earlier in the day after he described Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown University Law student who testified at a congressional hearing about contraception, a “slut” and a “prostitute.”
