MARGATE — The owner of the daycare center where a 2-year-old girl died after she was left in a hot van says it was a horrible mistake, but her entire staff shouldn’t be blamed.Kathryn Muhammad says the employee who left Haile Brockington in the van was fired and that all four day care centers she owns will change their transportation procedures.Muhammed says her employees have been called “baby killers” and have had food and other items thrown at their cars since Haile’s death August 5.

WEST PALM BEACH — A security guard has fatally shot a man outside a South Florida strip club following an argument.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies say two groups were asked to leave Goldfingers Gentlemen’s Club early Saturday morning after a fight broke out. Once outside, the unidentified victim grabbed a handgun from a car and began shooting.
