Pautsch writes down the complaints and forwards them to an officer. On Friday, a code enforcement staffer was sent to take pictures of the sculptures.
“We are not the censor,” said Kurt Eismann, director of code enforcement. “We don’t police or censor. We just want to make sure it makes the unified land development code.”
The code doesn’t have a chapter on nude sculptures but in the last few years there have been successful attempts by the some people to cover up naked statues.
