South Palm Beach mayor causes stir after strip club incident
SOUTH PALM BEACH – Mayor Martin Millar got a grilling from some residents over a police report that said he was kicked out of an adult entertainment club, WPTV-Ch. 5 reports.
One man stood at the podium during the public comment portion of Tuesday night’s town council meeting and told Millar: “You owe the people an explanation.”
Millar, who was not arrested, was kicked out of Rachel’s adult entertainment club in West Palm Beach on Monday night after shining a flashlight at an exotic dancer and threatening a club manager, according to the police report.
He repeatedly said he was a public official, the report said.
When a WPTV reporter asked Millar about the incident, he replied, “I will not comment on anything that happened at Rachel’s, just that people supported me. I’m exhausted and I’m going home.”
